The aim of appraisal is to provide the opportunity to discuss with your manager how you can develop your work, and how any obstacles to progress can be removed. Participants in this course will consider:

• how to run supportive appraisals
  
• how to make appraisals creative reviews of personal development
  
• how to communciate effectively in an appraisal situation
  
• how to present appraisal documentation constructively.
