Contribution
Kate is working on the new tennis CD-ROM for GCSE level students.

Kate gained a PGCE in secondary school science teaching from Cambridge University in 2003 after a BSc in Biology and Geography from the University of Bristol in 2001.

Kate is now an NQT science teacher at a comprehensive secondary school in Hertfordshire, England having previously worked at the engineering consultants FaberMaunsell in St. Albans as a graduate.

Kate has been interested in developing the use of ICT in science teaching throughout her PGCE and NQT year, and has produced a rough pilot CD-ROM to improve student investigation skills.

She is currently teaching science to Y7 – Y11 students (12-16 year olds), and biology to Y12-13 students.

When time permits, she is a keen skier.
