Timothy Moran gained his degree in physics from the University of Nottingham. He has done work on a Public Awareness of Science project at Cambridge University and has been involved in the design of the 'Cambridge Physics' website.

Tim works as a freelance graphic designer and technical writer. He is very interested in Japanese animation, Californian crime fiction, and is a writer of contemporary short prose.
